Peek-a-boo & W-W Update

You've probably guessed that I am loving these Cricut frames by now!!......... I went around the edges of the holes with stickles, the little polar bear is the QK die I used in the previous penguin card, only the right way up this time.... Snowflake is Cuttlebug, paper from Anitas pad, 4 little peel off dots and button from stash.

Well, I know I haven't updated for a while, but my total weight lose so far is 1st 4lbs.... slowly but surely eh!!! I'm sure I'll undo some of the good work this weekend though, it's my 40th Birthday on Saturday!!! apart from my aches and pains, I still feel the same inside as I did when I was 21!!!!! Listen to me rambling on...... have a nice weekend all.

Penguin

Hi everyone, I have entered this little card into the Quickutz Challenge blog comp, the penguin is made out of the QK baby polar bear die, I turned him upside down and coloured the black bit freehand, the beak is from the QK chick die, frame is Cricut on Bazzil bling, bg paper is Anitas stack pad, ribbon, dies and paper are from Crafts U Love. Very simple card, but I quite like my little penguin! what d'ya think?.....

Black and White Card and Candy Alert

I was inspired by Hans' beautiful black and white cards on her blog.... I used the Cuttlebug folder, added Jet Hotfix crystals, a black bow and some stickles, although you can't see it.... added black peel offs and two cuttlebug trees, simple, but I quite like it.....Pop over and see Elaines' fab blog, she is giving away Promarkers!!!!! have a look around whilst you're there, her work is stunning!!

another Christmas Card...

Hi everyone, I love this little stamp from Penny Black, I stamped it 3 times and coloured with prismas & sansodor, added glamour dust and a rub-on, mounted twice onto green Bazzill, papers are DCWV stac and I inked the edge of the main piece, X-Cut snowflake punch, Dovecraft brad. The tiny bauble under the bow is from Cricut cart. Hope you all having a great weekend.

Christmas Tree

Good morning all, another Christmas Card.... I'm getting there!! I love this Jane Gill tree stamp from Woodware, I stamped in gold ink then heat embossed with gold powder and added a few Swarovski green hot fix crystals, then mounted onto brown bazzill card, Quickutz snowflake die from Crafts U Love, ribbon from Hobbycraft, greeting is a Craftwork Cards Black and White one which I inked with gold to match. Papers are DCWV.

Christmas Card

Good morning all, hope your week has started well....... I thought I would post this, although I'm not happy with it.... I attempted a Tunnel Card, I think that's what it's called!...... Although I followed all the instructions and measurements properly, it still never went together right!!!!!..... not sure what went wrong, but you get the idea, (It's being held together with paperclips!!!
I used Bazzill cardstock of course! Cuttlebug trees, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots emb. folder, Elzybells Stamps (thank you Kim!!) Hero Arts Stamps, Quickutz snowflake and Rub on.

Card for my Grandma

It's my Grandmas' 80th Birthday next week and this is the card I made for her. I used K&Co Sparkly Sweet papers, Penny Black Stamp coloured with the usual Prismas, X Cut Flower punch, Fiskars Threading Water punch, Peel Off greeting and Doodlebug jewels. Male card

Good morning all, I hope you all had a great weekend.... just a quick card that I made for a male friend. I used Bazzill cardstock, cut the frame on Cricut (Stretch your imagination cart), mounted with foam pads and also cut the leaf design and added in the centre. Couple of peel offs in the corners, Craftwork Cards greeting. Hope you like....

Wedding

Hi everyone, I had the most fantastic day yesterday, my baby Brother got married, yes that's the one I did the invitations for a few months back. Here are a few piccies and also of the card that I made them. The box card was actually made in Wendy Horrods' class at Crafts U Love and I just added a few personalised bits to it....Congratulations to Charlotte & Gordon!

Criss Cross Christmas card

Well that's a mouth full isn't it!! It's the first time I have made one of these and I am quite liking them........ Card stock is Bazzill, papers are DCVW, ribbon from stash and Poinsetta is from Craftwork Cards. The embellishment on the insert is Hero Arts, i stamped first with red ink then with green and cut out the middle bit and layered over the red one, edged with glue and dipped into gold Glamour Dust, the stamp at the bottom is also Hero Arts. Hope you like.......

A few cards.......

Well you all know that I have lots of spare time on my hands at the moment!!!! so I have been making a few basic stock cards, they are not very exciting I'm afraid, but thought I'd show you what I've been doing anyway. Here they are......... don't get too excited!!!!!!!!
Edited to say: sorry should have mentioned that all of these with the exception of the hearts one where cuts made on my Cricut. The Congrats on the first one is cut from cuttlebug die set.

Christmas Tilda card

Hi everyone, managed to finish a card, although my mojo is soooo AWOL!!!! anyway, I used Craftwork Cards bg paper which has a lovely pealescent finish and cut 2 strips from another sheet from the same set (I think I've had this paper from 2 years ago!!) Coloured Tilda with Prismas and Sansodor and added Stickles, mounted her onto silver Mirri card from Crafts U Love, also the little white pearls are from there too. the 2 little snowflakes are from stash and I cut the large one from the Home Accents Cricut cart. Brad is from Dovecrafts. Will post another tomorrow.
