As promised this is my other swap I made for the Stampin' Stars team training in Crawley. I used the same stamp set, Forever Young, and used up all my Butterflies that I had made too many of before. This time I used Wisteria Wonder Cardstock, Certainly Celery ribbon and a clear Itty Bitty button.

Just thought I would show the 'swap' I made when we went to Regional Training last month. I used one of the lovely new stamp sets, Forever Young, along with one of the new 'In Colours' Pool Party, Whisper White and a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds. The photo is not very good, sorry, but this little card looks really pretty in the 'flesh.

Here's a little baby card I made using Bundle of Love stamp set, So Saffron Brad, Nursey Suite Quick Accents, Whisper White Organza Ribbon & coloured using the Stampin' Up! Watercolour Crayons.

Well it's pouring down outside at the moment, in fact it's hardly stopped all day! So I think I'll snuggle up with hubby and bottle of wine to start the weekend off nicely!

Good morning bloggers, Look at me back again so soon! Well it's a typical Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK, grey and drizzling at the moment. Oh well, will have to stay in and make more stuff!

Here is a little card that I 'cased' from the wonderful Mary Fish, Mary is a Stampin' Up! demo in the USA and I just love her style. Here is my version of a card she made a little while ago. I have used just Old Olive card and ink, Clearly for You stamp set, daisy die, Tiny Tags and punch, cute little button and ribbon to finish.

Well Hello Blogland,

Sorry for not blogging for so long... it's been ages hasn't it? My only excuse really is that my camera is really pants, so my lovely downline Helen let me borrow hers, so I've taken lots of photos of cards I've been making over the last few months, so no excuses now I guess!

Here is a set of cards I made using mainly the Stampin' Up! Celebrations Quick Accents, adding some stamps and papers.

Here's the first style, I know it's an old stamp set, but I still love it!

I haven't got a fancy camera so you can't see it so well but there is black glitter on the red card and I have 3D'd some of the accents on the white one... all Stampin' Up! products including the glitter.

Sorry I have been AWOL ladies, I don't suppose many of you come here anymore, I don't blame you, but I will try to update this blog a little more often now though.

I held my first ever Stampin' Up! workshop a few weeks ago at my house. It was a little cramped, but I think everyone enjoyed it!

Hello,

Been playing with Stampin' Up! stuff, brayed some bridal cardstock with Soft Suede ink, stamped the hearts from I Heart Hearts set with Melon Mambo ink and 'rock & rolled in Soft Suede around the edges, added some So Saffron cardstock and new ribbon, mounted onto Melon Mambo card and paper pricked and doodled to finish.

Thought you might like to see this little stationery box I made that was on Splitcoast Stampers Wednesday Tutorial, it was surprisingly easy to make. I used Stampin' Up! To the Nines DP and SU punches and bits 'n' bobs to make the cards, notelets, tags and pen holder etc.

Christmas Card

Off to Cardiff for the weekend today, so just quickly showing you this card..... Mainly used SU products, wiped a Bashful Blue inkpad over the bottom half of the card, added strip of SU paper, heat embossed the flourish and greeting with white emb. powder, inked up an acetate panel, added Diamond Glaze, Glamour Dust, then layered some tissue paper on back, once dried, trimmed and addded to card with brads, topped with Hero Arts sentiment on a SU scallop circle.

I had a go at making one of the flowers on the Stamp With Us Online Classes, very easy to make and I think they look fab!! I used all SU products with the addition of the Cuttlebug corner and Nestie shape.

Oh my god, today I am having an ingrowing toenail removed!!! Sorry, that's probably put you off your tea!! Trying not to worry, but just the thought of it....yuk!

Anyway, here's a little card I made for my Father In Law, Used the Penny black teddy stamp, I think it's from the clear set called bubble?? Used Stampin' Up! papers, Sizzix alphabet covered with Glossy Accents. Paper pieced his tie and coloured him with SU Watercolour crayons. Finished with some brads.

S U Class

I went to a Stampin' Up! class last night with the brilliant Zoe aka Mrs Wonka, she had designed these fabulous Christmas cards, we used retired Winter Green papers, Always Artichoke, Sage Shadow and Certain Celery cardstock, Acetate, stamps, white embossing powder, Heat and Stick, brads and ribbon. Teresa made the best cakes ever and Natalie bought some choccie bars, so a very calorific evening indeed..... naughty, but very nice.

A little card mainly made with Stampin' Up! products, I versamarked the background and dabbed with chalked, Stamped the pink panel behind the Fresh notes, Cuttlebugged the pink panel behind, cuttlebug corner, stamped some SU flowers from the Fresh Cuts set & cut out, fiskars border strip (just visible) and layered up.

I can't for the life of me remember what make the stamp was, but I've had this image in my pre-stamped box for ages now.... I dug it out to colour for a friends card... I coloured her with SU watercolour crayons, mounted with Nesties and the papers are Daisy Bucket, added some Glamour Dust, flowers and Doodlebug jewels to finish, quite a simple card really, that seems to be me all over at the moment, mojo has escaped again, can't get motivated!!!

oh my god, I can't believe how stoooopid I am some times!!

I emailed my SU Demo and told here that she had delivered the wrong order to me yesterday....... she came straight back and said that she hadn't made the delivery yet!

I completely forgot that I had signed up for a mag subscription and that SU set was the free gift!!!!!!
I thought it was her having the blonde moment!!! It was me........ I sometimes think I'm the only one.......... anyway, the free gift was a little stamp set and Simply Sent Flower Power Card Element kit, so I had to have a little play and here is a quick, simple card that I made this afternoon.

Hi everyone, so sorry I haven't posted for ages! been so busy at home and then I was away for the weekend..... anyway, here's a commission I did last week for a friend to give to her Husband. As usual I struggled with this one as it's for a man, but I was happy with the way it turned out in the end. Card for my Aunty

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a great week?
This is the card I made for my Aunty. I've used pale blue Bazzill scallop card for the base. cardstock is Elegant Eggplant from SU, scallop circle and smaller circle punches are also SU. Papers are from Daisy Bucket, greeting is Craftwork cards, nesties and ribbon and buttons from stash. I layered the flower up by punching out various flowers from the papers. I'm still not sure about the layout of this card, but hey, it's done now!

Easter treats

I made these cards and treat bags for my new colleagues, Manny and Liz.... I've used SU papers, stamps and punches and the little stamp was part of a set of freebies on one of the craft mags a little while back. I finished them off with some hot fix crystals, velvet & grossgrain ribbon, Doodlebug alphabet rub ons and of course a little doodling. Hope you all have a great Easter weekend!

Stamp With Us sketch challenge

Here's my entry for the first 'Stamp With Us' Stampin' Up! sketch challenge. I have used a Papermania stamp and paper pieced it with SU papers, all papers are SU, I coloured him with SU watercolour crayons, edged the papers and stamped the Friendship Circle stamp with SU Ruby Red ink pad and mounted inside SU hardware, ribbon is white SU gross grain and I just ran an orange pen along the edges, and of course an SU scallop punch to finish! If you haven't been over to Stamp With Us yet, do pop over and see all the wonder things they have going on, they are a great bunch of gals and more exciting stuff is planned also! I've used a Penny Black flower stamp, coloured with Stampin' Up watercolour crayons, cut with Nesties. Scrolls on right are Sizzix, greetings are Craftwork Cards, top left corner is Cuttlebug die, not sure where the brad was from . . . . Daisy Bucket papers, ribbon & heart charm are from Crafts U Love and I finished with glitter glue and chalking. Hope you like...

Hi everyone,
I made this card for a friend, I`ve used Magenta Papers and decoupaged them ont he main image and again on the top right. cut out the circle and made the frame all from Nestabilities. Added the stamped greeting and punched out with Woodware punch, finished with some card candy and tulle, then mounted onto the card blank with foam pads. I added a little detail inside, inspired by Mrs Wonka! Hope you like...

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a fab weekend! We've just come back from a very enjoyable Sunday Lunch! very full now...... anyway, thought I'd just show the card I made for my Mum's Birthday, I've used Stampin' Up! lavender cardstock, I stamped the background on it with the flourish stamp from the Baroque Set in Versamark and clear embossed. The pale green is velvet card from Crafts U Love, Stamp is Penny Black coloured in with SU watercolour crayons then cut with nesties, Sizzix Alphabet, SU Ribbon and brads from stash. Used the SU scallop punch down the side and cut a strip of the lavender card for the inside edge. Finished with my usual doodling.... Hope you like.

I've used K&Co Blue Awning papers and adhesive chipboard frame sticker over a Craftwork Cards greeting, also from Craftwork cards are Card Candy (dots) - (thanks to Heidi) the little heart charm is from Crafts U Love and the alphabet die is from Sizzix - Skittle Dee Do and Nesties & Cuttlebug corner. Used some brown SU cardstock for the wide faux ribbon through the middle, bit of doodling to finish. Hope you like..... bye for now.

before I go out, I used one of those little 99p Autumn Leaves stamps from Crafts U Love and paper pieced with Basic Grey papers and a little glamour dust, Stampin' Up scallop punch and grossgrain ribbon, Nesties, hotfix crystals, Craftwork Cards mesage and some chalking to finish. Another of the Valentine cards that I made...... Circle card blank, Pink and Brown Bazzill card, Doodlebug stripe card, Nesties and the Cupcake stamp is Hero Arts, paper pieced the bottom with Doodlebug flower card, I don't think it shows in the photo, but I added Diamond Glaze to the hearts and a bit of Stardust gel pen to the sprinkles, the wording stamps I think are Sandylion...... Bit of chalking and doodling to finish....

ismaki sketch challenge

I thought I'd have another go at a challenge (I don't do them very often!!) This time I went for the Ismaki sketch challenge. I love the sketch and here's what I came up with, I've used Basic Grey papers, stamps are a mixture of Sandylion and Inkadinkadoo, Fiskars heart punch, ribbon from stash and hotfix crystals to finish. Valentine

OK, here's my second Valentine card I made, I was inspired by one of Enfys's cards she made on Going Buggy (link on left) to get my Cricut out, it hasn't seen much action lately...... I used one of the frame cuts on SYI Cricut cart, mounted it onto red Bazzill card, cut some hearts from George cart and layered them, greeting is computer generated, added some hotfix crystals, tuile and tiny punched heart in the centre of that.....anyway hope you like and I wish you all a fab weekend!

Valentine Card

Under 2 weeks to go, so thought I better make some Valentine cards, here's the first one..... Bazzill Scallop card as the card blank, Penny Black stamp of course, I water coloured Hedgie and used Copics on the rest, Basic Grey Bittersweet papers, large Bazzill flower and brad, Quickcutz scroll die, used Stampin' Up border punch, Nesties, hotfix nail heads and added some doodling here and there..

Male card

Another commission for a boy this time, as with most of us I think..... I really don't like making male cards!!! I think this one turned out ok though, reasonably happy with it. I've used Stampin' Up cardstock for the base card, also the motif is from the Baroque Set, I stamped with Versamark and clear embossing powder then cut out, added it on with a brad, Basic Grey papers, Cuttlebug corner die, Quickutz nameplate die, K&Co chipboard letters and finished with a little doodling with my fabby new white gel pen!! I just had to show you this photo of my beautiful cat Honey, she's a ginger female which I am told is quite rare..... she is 15 now, so quite an old girl, but she's still my baby!! Hi everyone, this is a card I made for a commission, I've used Imaginisce papers & brad, Hero Arts greetings stamp, Bazzill Gerbera, all from Crafts U Love. Stampin Up ribbon, Fiskars border punch, Cuttlebug corner die, Quikutz mini metro alphabet. The image is from a set of stamped images I bought from a lovely lady on ebay, much cheaper than buying stamps all the time, I coloured her with copics also bought from Crafts U Love.

My question is: can anyone recommend a qood make for a white gel pen? As you can see from the photo, i have used a Sakura one (on the pink scallop border and around the bath) and to me it just looks like I got the Tipex out!!!

Well, I had a lovely evening last night!! thanks to the lovely Zoe, even though she was unwell she still made sure we all had a great evening! and thanks to Natalie O'Shea, she was the Demo and I saw some friends who I hadn't seen in ages..... the lovely Kim, Sarah K and Teresa (who made some gorgeous cakes!)... lovely to see you all ladies!

We made a little card whilst we were there...... and also there was a little prize draw which I won......some luverly SU Ribbons beautifully packaged by Zoe, she made the little bag topper!

Hi Everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Just thought I'd show you all this little Get Well card, I used an image from Rubber Romance stamps, paper is Imaginisce, used the Fiskars lace border punch and even managed to incorporate the off cut bits of the punch out too! Not sure if it shows on the photo, but used white flock on her dressing gown and slippers, coloured her with a mixture of Promarkers and Prismas.... rather an appropriate card for this time of year, I too have had the dreaded lurgy !! much better now though... Bye for now.

(it's Kim Fees' fault I bought it) ha ha ha, so easy to work with, for the main image on the first one I masked a bit of it off, on the other card I have used a Penny Black stamp too on shrink plastic. Hi everyone, just thought I'd show you my daughters' Christmas card, I've used the My Minds Eye papers and embellishments. added some ribbon and trimmings around one of the trees, gems and glamour dust. there is also a little tag in the pocket I made and I stamped on that. also a couple of scraps of ribbon on the right hand tree.... not sure of the layout of this one......

I got these blank paper gift bags from Crafts U Love, a real bargain, £1.00 for 10 I think it was!! anyway the first one, I stamped with my Stampin' Up! roller thingy, Jolly Holly, in Green Ivy Pearlescent ink, then edged with Dovecraft sticky ribbons, added red Stickles to the berries. the topper is just a Hero Arts stamp backed onto a few layers and added some ribbon from stash. The second is pretty self explanatory I think..... I hope you like..

This made a nice change, I was asked to make a card for Micas' boyfriends' Mum. The main paper is The Paper Company and I think that the gilttery one is K&CO.... not sure, I only had a scrap of it left.... Stamp is of course Penny Black, I coloured with both Prismas and Promarkers, the centre of the flower is a Hero Arts stamp onto Shrink Plastic then wrote the names in before heating. The greeting at the bottom is from Craftwork Cards. (these are so handy!) Hope you like and hope you all have a fab weekend.... it's raining here and also freezing cold! good excuse to stay in and make more cards me thinks!!

Christmas House

Hi everyone.... thought I'd have a go at making my own shaped card blank today, I cut the house from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cart, used this as a stencil, by flipping over and drawing around it, I covered it with DCWV paper, cut the flower pot and sign post from the Walk in my Garden cart, layered and chalked these, the holly bush... I punched and glued every single little leaf on here! took me ages!....finshed with glitter card and added Bazzill dotty card for the curtains, the colours haven't come out very well, much brighter i.r.l......hope you like, bit different for me eh!!?

Hi everyone, here's my entry for the above, kept this one very simply as you can see, but I am quite pleased with it..... Snowflake stamp is from a clear Inkadinkadoo set I got from Crafts U Love, white peel offs also from there, actually... come to think of it so is the Bazzill scallop card!! I cut out the circle and square from Nesties and also then ran through again with the embossing mat, but it doesn't show. Ribbon from stash. Hope you like..

I thought I would have a go at one of these, I've kept it quite simple, but I think it came out ok... I've used Imaginisce and Bazzill paper/card, Hero Arts greeting stamp, gold border peel-offs and Papermania Poinsetta, Hero Arts round stamp, on shrink plastic and heated and added to the middle of the flower. A few Imaginisce rub ons to finish, hope you like, have a fab weekend everyone!

Simply Fairies Challenge Sketch No.2

Oooh, get me....entering challenges!!! Well this is the fabulous Kims' sketch from Simply Fairies, really enjoyed this one.. I've used a mix of Imaginisce, Bazzill and Stampin' Up papers here and inked the edges of the main piece and doodled, sentiment is from Elzybells, Tulle is from Crafts U Love, snowflake on bow is another punched from shrink plastic and heated, trees are Cuttlebug, also used the snowflake embossing folder, stamp is obviously Ladybug, brad is from Dovecraft I think. I coloured the snowman with the usual Prismas and Sansodor, then added some Glamour Dust and white gel pen on his scarf. Just finished with some flat back pearls, again from Crafts U Love. I hope you like....

Elzybells challenge

This is my entry for Elzybells latest challenge. I have used the new Bazzill dotty cardstock and just a few buttons!! the border at the bottom is cut from a Fiskars border punch I've had since I began card making. Snowfakes at top are also Fiskars. I coloured her with Prismas and Sansodor and added a little Glamour Dust! The star is cricut I think and the little snowflake above the robin is one I puched from shrink plastic and then heated. Hope you like.......

Card for Hubby

Here is the card that I made for Hubbys' birthday.... I used Doddlebug flocked cardstock and black trimming, cut the heart out from George Cricut cart, then stuck it to a piece of paper and ran it through the printer for the main greeting, the border at the bottom is cut from the Home Accents cart, punched glitter star, bit of chalking and a couple of brads and corners to finish.

Hi everyone, this is my entry for the Simply Fairies sketch challenge, this is Kims' first challenge I believe....I don't normally enter these because there are so many brilliant ones to chose from and by the time I've come up with something, I'm too late!!! Anyway... I've used papers, embellishments and rub-ons from Imaginisce 'Snowy Jo' Glitter paper pad from Crafts U Love. I added gold peel-off borders and 2 Doodlebug sugar coated brads and ribbon from stash. Sorry about the poor quality photo, the colours haven't come out very well at all, but you get the idea..

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great weekend, bit wet in the South East of England!! and it's still chucking it down now as I type!

I love this little Penny Black mouse, he's part of the clear set. I coloured him with Prismas and sansodor, added some Glamour Dust, then backed onto pale turquoise Bazzill Bling cut from Nesties.... I can't remember what the backing paper is, it's from last years' stash! The bauble is cut from a Quickutz Die, added black peeloffs and hung on some Papermania trimming. Ribbon from stash.
