Hello ladies, I am curious to know what you ladies find is the best cardstock for stamping on? I find that the cheap stuff I use doesn't like it if you make it too wet when stamping and colouring.
Hi Justine, nice to hear from you. Love your blog and your cards are fab! I like the SU Whisper white cardstock for watercolours but it is no good for copics or alcohol based colours. I buy Rey Text & Graphics brand from Staples 160gsm card and this is good for most things and prints on beautifully too. HTH. Kim
I use Stampin Up cardstock for most everything I work on except for the white as SU had a bad batch of white cardstock one time and refused to exchange it. But all there colored cardstock is awesome. As far as the white cardstock I buy the 110lb (thickness) at my local Walmart. And now for the life of me I can't remember the name brand - it is in the scrapbook/crafting section though. I think it's hammermill?
Hi, thanks for visiting me. I am married to Mike and we have a 20 year old daughter. I live in Surrey, UK and love making cards and anything crafty. Mike built me my own craft room in our attic 5 years ago and I can be found up there most of the time!! We are all inspired by other peoples work, however it is only polite and right that you do not copy the designs you see on my blog for magazines, competitions or commercial use. Thanks for looking.
